Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Nam Cat Tien National Park (L, D)

Pick you up the hotel’s lobby, leave the city and drive to Nam Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai province, 170km from Ho Chi Minh City. An incredible diversity of birds and mammals live in the forest and wetland habitats of Nam Cat Tien, including an estimated 230 species of birds, endangered birds can be found here. Have lunch among the peaceful moments of pristine nature.

The afternoon is spent for birding along the road from the park headquarters. Dinner and watching some animal at night at their headquarters. Overnight in Nam Cat Tien National Park

Day 2: Nam Cat Tien National Park Discovery Tour (B, L, D)

After having breakfast, discover the forest by bike to see the Heaven waterfall and botanical garden. Enjoy lunch and take a short nap.

In the afternoon, restart the tour with a 6km travel by pick up car through forests to Crocodile Lake. Species that can be seen here include Green Peafowl by Crocodile Lake in the early morning or late afternoon, Bronze-winged Jacana, lesser adjutant, and Purple Heron. In the forest lookout for Red and Black and Banded Broadbill, Orange-breasted Trogon and Pale-headed Woodpecker amongst others.

Day 3: Nam Cat Tien National Park – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

This morning, wake up early to listen to the nice songs of native birds. Enjoy breakfast then prepare for another four-hour trekking to see the Crocodiles swamp and back to the headquarter of Nam Cat Tien National Park for lunch. Then get on vehicle for heading back to Saigon. Trip ends.
